How good is to come back home !
Home, Judo Family (because yeah, my club is my 2nd family), that feeling increases even more after living somewhere else. Personally i never did feel belonging here as much as now.
But this summer wasn't a lazy summer, we kept training judo as much as we could, but it unfortunately closes for summer holidays.
We got the chance to be able to train at home as well afterwards
With my club, we got the chance to do a demonstration in the middle of the city, thing i never did before. That was an AMAZING experience in my opinion. I was super happy to do it.
If you wanna check, there is few pics on the facebook page
And, finally we got time to visit a bit and relax !
That's a short article for a long summer, i know, but I just wanted to show the main parts of it !
Actually it's my 4th time in Grenoble.
I liked this city at the first day. Mountains, good spirit and mountains again :D
Three days there on the heat wave, lucky me. Everyone goes slow there, trains fucked up in the whole France and my old tiny car resists ! (It's a warrior btw)
During my previous journey i tried
Between the North and South in France is Lyon.
I already was in Lyon 2 years ago, it's a really beautiful city with a lot of history.
After more than 530km by car yesterday and a lot of money waste in tools... (and a cool meeting with a hitchhiker) i finally arrived in Lyon. Met my couchsurfers (who are awesome).
When you do so much road in one day in an old car as mine, you need to be focused, to drive not so fast and it's very tiresome ... then no training yesterday unfortunately.
The academy :
Professor Vincent Nguyen, first European black belt from the Mendes Bros, gave us a really good course about escape on De la riva guard. Honestly i was awful but the techniques were very good.
After 45 min techniques we had some sparring that was very great too !
If you are around Lyon, you should go there, good academy :)
Thanks a lot guys !
We do like to travel and train. After a trip around Europe, we couldn't stop doing it. Unfortunately, time is not always there. We try to update this globetrotting blog as much as we can !
