Munchen is the #1 best tap water of germany ! :3
I don't have a lot of things to tell about the city.
I walked a lot, get lost, walked and get lost again !
First training in german finally !
My host on couchsurfing, Vito, was a jiu jitsu guy, then it's perfect ! So he bring me on his academy !
i went to HUTTON BJJ ACADEMY
What i felt when i went there ?
You walk on Munchen's streets and all of a sudden you go on a garage under a building. The type of garage who is a bit creepy ! After you need to open a huge reinforced door, walk into a narrow corridor and open an other reinforced door. Finally you are on the academy !
Clean, huge, pulls bars, punshing bags, mirrors ... Nice finaly ! And -what a surprise trust me, i didn't expect that at all- natural light ! :D
When a guy tell you something in german, trust me guys, you do it.. quickly haha !
We trained about a choke. Simple choke, Kata-ha-Jime, but face to face when you have the close guard.
I mean... Kata-ha-Jime ... What a classic, everyone knows that !
Nop, wrong. Everyone knows the technique, sure, for me, it was the first technique i learned when i started Judo few years ago. But this one was... how say ... Amazingly efficient !
We just added hips moves, a good grip to your own sleeve and a nasty thing on the opponent chin !
After that we rolled quite a lot !
My first roll was with the Professor (what an honour, 'cos usually it's in the end)
Anyway, even if i didn't saw a lot of the city, the training was cool !
And trust me it's awesome to train with your host !
Thanks Vito ;)
We do like to travel and train. After a trip around Europe, we couldn't stop doing it. Unfortunately, time is not always there. We try to update this globetrotting blog as much as we can !
